Jeremiah

Jeremiah was one of the major prophets in the Old Testament. He was given the task of prophesying to the people of Judah when they were far from the Lord. He fortold of the exile to Babylon and of the destruction of Jerusalem. However, he also foretold of the return from exile, and the coming kingdom of God which gave him hope throughout his lifetime.
